Changing the cooling on my SN85G4

So my fan headers and the fan that came standard on my SN85G4 are taking a dump on me. Over the summer I lost fan header 1 and didn't think much of it because everything worked fine when I used fan header 2. Now fan header 2 is working, but barely gets the fan over 1000rpm, and I have to restart a couple times before I'm lucky enough to get it that fast. This is with all the fan settings set to full speed in the BIOS (most current BIOS). I've spent my morning doing some research and it seems like the fan headers crapping out is a fairly common problem.

I'd like to disregard the original fan and fan headers altogether and just add a big 120mm fan onto the back. I've heard there are adapters I can get so I can go from the standard 80mm fan to a 120mm fan, what is a good place to purchase those? Will it provide enough airflow using an adapter? Should I get a 4pin fan to avoid the damaged 3pin fans? (I assume 4pin is the standard connection coming from the power supply)

Anyway I'd like to just get a fan and an adapter and take care of this as quickly and cheaply as possible. Thanks for the help!
