Alrighty, i have a coolermaster 600watt PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171013
As the reviews say, the thing i freaking LOUD!. I got so sick of the noise. The fan almost seems to be scraping something.. like the bearings are bad. Something like that
So, i took it upon me to try another fan. I had a 120mm LED fan. Molex. I put that in there and ran the molex out the PSU like the other cables run. It seems to be fine.
I guess my question is; the fan i took out it *said* it was a .54A fan. I put in a .27A fan. Obviously, the new one isnt spinning as fast, but do you think that the PSU will burn up? The air that is coming out the back is cool... like it was with the other fan.
