Hi, this may be a somewhat dumb question but is there anyway to change the keyboard keymap to another language like russian? Or at the very least like an on screen keyboard with russian characters? I realise that the russian alphabet has 33 chars and english is only 26. I am taking a language course in russian, and would like to be able to type some of the documents.

[solution]

In windows XP

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options.

Click the tab "Languages" at the top of the window

When that comes up click "Details"

Click on "Add" In the middle of the window to add any languages you need.

Then you can select Key Settings to change the key setting to swtich between whatever languages. The Default is "Left Alt + Shift"

[/solution]

if possible could a mod append the title of the thread to indicate my problem was solved, thanks.
