At the bottom of the forum where it says Display Options: Showing threads 1 to 20 of 25

How do I change the default value "Last Month" to "Beginning?"
 
User CP -> Edit Options -> Thread Display Options -> Default Thread Age Cut Off

Choose from the drop down the desired length of time you want to see threads from
