Change the letter of the DVD Drive

How do I change the letter of my dvd drive?

ive tried using the device properties and the disk management .. no luck

What do you mean? Disk Management gave you an error or something? That would be where you change it.

on the disk management screen the dvd drive does not show up only my hdd's

should be under administrative tools, computer managment, then disk managment.

scroll down and change cdrom0 and cdrom1

If that doesn't work, i'd have no idea what to do.

If it isn't showing up in Disk Management, you have another issue to work out before changing the drive letters. I'm going to guess and say this is a newer board that uses a JMicron IDE port, and you loaded the driver from Windows Update?
