Hey KING_N

can you change my STATS ID on the Hardfolding statistics website:

wrong = 54679485
correct = 2003093

thanks in advance.

Huggernaut.

you should be able to change it.. though it really doesnt make all that big of a difference..

oufcourse it does, otherwise my points won't get added to my team right?

and i don't want to be folding without getting my points

correct = 2003093
This stats ID number is for Huggernaut on Team Blackcats. Once your points have been granted for another team, they can't be switched to another team and you can't move your stats ID to a different team. Your hardfolding page matches the EOC page and Stanford's official sites if you are indeed this same Huggernaut.

There are no other Huggernaut's currently in the official stats system on Stanford's site. Also, I'm not sure where you are getting this stats ID of 54679485 as it doesn't seem to be a valid ID number on hardfolding.com

Are you folding under a different name with us?

no, i just didn't know what to do with the STATS ID when i made my account so i just put a random number.

rather stupid i know, but it was late and i was tired

if anyone could correct that number on the hardfolding site that would make it better right?

please can someone change it for me? i need the correct number in my profile, otherwise i don't get my updates added to the team !!!

i have not had a reply yet !!!

ID: Huggernaut
Correct STATS ID: 2003093

Please, can an admin fix this?

Or is there a way to remove my profile and re-register?

Hi. Hopefully I can address this since I used to belong to another team.

First of all I just went over to the official Stanford stats page and the only entry I see for donor Huggernaut is for your previous team. If you have contributed points for any other teams it would have appeared on this page but according to that stats page you are still getting credited for team 57540 with your last WU being turned in 2010-10-13 @15:08:29

In regards to hardfolding the user ID number you updated has no effect on the team you belong to. I have 2 user ID numbers at Hardfolding because of the multiple teams.

The first thing I can suggest is for you to verify/update your folding client's configuration(username and team number). If you had to change anything give it some time to complete a WU or 2 and then go to the official Stanford stats page and search for your username only. If you show up as folding for team 33 there then we are making progress and then we can move on to work on hardfolding.

Alternatively, can you post the first 100 lines of your fahlog.txt to see if it is configured properly.

That would be faster.

Go to your client files and look for the fahlog.txt file.

Copy the first 100 lines and put them in the code box like below. The second entry with a timestamp has my username and team number

Code:

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, but I'm folding for the right team. I signed up for team 57540.

Maybe there is a misunderstanding in my question? English is not my native language, so it's a little hard to explain sometimes.

What i mean, is that the number from the stanford website is correct. But at the time of signup on the Hardfolding statistics website I did not know what to do with the STATS ID thing, so i put in a random number.
It is my first signup for F@H, so I have not signed up for any other teams before.

Now the ID number (only at the hardfolding statistics website) needs to be changed to the correct one (2xxx i gave above)

Thanks again!

Huggernaut.

the stats ID number on hardfolding.com has no effect on your points or the stats on hardfolding.com.. all it does is link your hardfolding account to your stats.. it really serves no purpose..

the only thing that matters is the team number you use.. if your are folding for Hardocp then you should be using team number 33

Sorry for the misunderstanding from my end as well. Your ID number is fine and I would not worry about it for the same reasons sirmonkey 1985 mentioned.

I went to Hardfolding and looked you up by name and found you here. It says you are folding for team black cats (57540) with the ID number of 2003093 that you had previously mentioned.

As of me typing this you are contributing points to the team you signed up with. Look here. You were at a rank of 544 when I looked you up.

I hope that this answers your questions.

Fold on dude!

Just curious, what's the story behind you and that team? We've got no problem helping folders from anywhere here, wherever you fold is fine, just kinda curious

Black Cats has me wondering lol

Allright ppl,

I found out that my teamfolding is fine.
However, I would also like to see my personal stats page.
Which is currently not being displayed correctly due to the wrong stats ID.

So if any admin would PLEASE JUST CHANGE THE STATS ID for me that would be great!

@Vaulter98c, I dunno how much I can say about blackcats... I joined them a loooong time ago in a different line of work, and now they started a folding team.
So I joined.

It is becoming clear that there is a communication problem between the OP and everyone else in this thread.

OP, let me be perfectly clear: there is no way to change your hardfolding stats ID. That is because there is absolutely no reason to do so. As long as you are using the right team number and user name in your folding clients, then your points will go to the correct user and team. And as long as your points are going to the right user and team, then you can view everything related to your folding at the following page:

http://www.hardfolding.com/fh_stats/index.php?pz=102&tnum=57540&id=2003093

That is your stats page. If the point totals don't look correct, then you have something misconfigured on one of your clients. Tell us what you think you should be seeing on that page and we will try to help you straighten it out.

I just don't want you to think that we are ignoring you or not trying to be helpful. It seems like you have a basic misunderstanding of how hardfolding.com works and we need to solve that before we can help you with anything else.

I understand exactly what you mean. The stats id for Huggernaut is correct and the points obviously add up to my player (Huggernaut) and team (#57540)

What I mean, is that when I log in to hardfolding, I can go to my personal user page, and THAT page is linked to an invalid stats id and needs to be linked to my stats id from stanford...

I'm obviously not asking you to change the stanford assigned stats id...

I guess someone changed my stats ID on the hardfolding website.

Thanks to whoever changed it !

It is now correctly displayed in my project member stats page!

Hugs.

You should thank King_N for that, he usually fix things stealthly ;)
