Chance to buy new dell p1110 montior

Unused CRT's are becoming pretty valuable, especially Trinitrons like that one. At that price, it seems foolish to pass up.
 
Just picked it up, its brand new in box anything. I consider myself quite lucky.

What is the "burn in" for a monitor like this? An hour? Or More?
 
It takes about 30 minutes of warm up before it can display its maximum contrast if that's what you mean.
 
when i pealed the sticker on the screen off, some of the glue is still on the screen. Anytype of special solution I need to used to get it off? Water won't work.
 
You can scratch it off with your fingernail or use an old T-shirt. It shouldn't scuff the glass.
 
if that doesnt work, go get a bottle of "goo gone". works like a charm every time.
 
For some reason, when I can compare it next to my older crt, the colors seem less... colorful. Its either because I need to do some tweaking or its brand new. I have it set at 9300k.
