Okey.
I'm tired of having an idle graphics card now... It worked, but does not work anymore, and havent for some months, when I get my screen back so I can run some higher res's again I'd need the 2nd gpu.
Setup
5850 Crossfire, Both are xfx, one is refrence design at 765 mhz clock vs 755 on the non refrence design. (bios is diffrent)
Driver is 11.5 currently and crossfire does not work in ANY game, no matter what game.
performance thingy in windows reports 6.9 meaning my laptop gets better with its mobile 5870, which obviously is alot slower since its in reality a 5770 in desktop terms.
i've tried driver cleanup, no overclock, synced clocks, vsync, and so on.
I have not tried unplugging a monitor cable, I have one going to my reciever and then to projector and TV.
One dvi cable to a computer screen.
No amd vision center( as its called now) settings other than always vsync, and monitor settings.
The rest of the system doesnt matter what it is, cause it works with older drivers.
It's worth noting I had no flickering playing through crysis 2 at 11.1 drivers running crossfire!
disabling crossfire decreased performance so it did work, firefox forced me to upgrade drivers, and now it's been impossible to play with CF for a while
I also loose sound output to my reciever when having CF enabled and a cf capable game runs flickered. since I run hdmi sound output to my pre/pro
