Well I am waiting for my replacement motherboard to get back and wanted to work on the wires since it is out. All I have in the case is my PSU, 2 HD's, DVD drive. I cant seem to get the PSU wires behind the motherboard tray due to the hole where the PSU is, is covered by the PSU. I tried to shove them through it but when they are through the hole the PSU won't sit in the correct spot to screw in. Any help? :(
 
The Centurion 5 is a pretty difficult case for wire mangement, so you'll probably have to live with it the way it is, unless you're willing to break out the dremel and make the hole bigger.

i figured that was going to be the case. I guess I will just have to fold them up and zip tie them and put them in the hole coming from behind the motherboard tray.

So, The first drive bay is my optical drive and the second bay is my 300w Dedicated VGA power supply.








 
Dremel out the hole to be a bit larger...

I ended up putting a 20 to 24 pin adaptor on my ATX power lead, but I painted it up to work with the rest of the cabling.
 
Well I finally cut a 2 inch extension to the original hole (with the stand for the PSU) and got the wires through. Only trouble was getting the back of the case to snap into place since the wires were pushing it out. :D
 
I had to judiciously use electrical tape to spread out hte cable bundles across the surface area behind the mobo tray. the back panel was a big issue... but it can be done! ;)
 
Kinda off topic but what is the grey looking plastic ring or doughnut looking thing in the screw bag of this case?
 
can anyone guide me in the direction as to where i would find directions to take of the front section of the case. I'm thinking about buying one and i just wanted to know before hand. thanks
 
Grab the edges and pull :). It's held on by plastic tabs, all you have to do is pull and they come right out.
 
Just pull, the tabs are a type that don't have to be pushed to be removed.
 
anyone have any pointers for cable management on this. by this i mean where to drill holes, etc. any help would be great.
 
It all depends on your system components. Just take a good look at teh case, see where you want the cables to go, and cut the holes there. Behind the motherboard is usually a good place.
