Im really bored right now and want some suggestion on Modding my Centurion 5... Put blue 120mm Fan in front of the case to intake cool air






 
Ugh. Get some cable management going on in there, it's a rats nest!!!

I vinyl dyed all the slidey thingies that lock the HD's into place. They look good black.

yea - sladesurfer is just our resident cable management attention whore...
I've seen more pictures of his rigs online than nekkid women. That's when I knew there was a problem.

I wish you could remove the plastic tooless brackets if so i wouldve painted them a long time ago on my C5. You could try stealthing the cd drive or if you got really ambitious mod a 120 Fan in the front where the 80 is.

You can, I was able to myself for my server. It's tricky though...
 
guh, i still hate your cable management ;)

Why pull the guts and everything apart and have the inside chrome dipped or powder coated black and rit dye the sliders like arcygenical suggested. Be like a Pimp my rig!

I wouldn't mine doing the powder coating and rit dye on my cent5.
 
thats some awesome cable management. did you just flip the hd cage around and cut some holes on the mobo tray and route the wires that way?

its hard to think of mods for a centurion 5 since its a pretty clean case. you could always give a nice paint job inside and out, give it a nice glow, and stealth your drives if you have any.
 
If you're putting a blue 120mm fan in the 5.25" bays anyway, why not consider getting a BlueGears fan that displays your ambient air temps. I think it would look cool behind the black mesh.

I checked out the fan and its cool. I've nver heard or seen the fan before. I might try it. thanks
