Centurion 5 and Lanparty, compatible/moddable?

Ok, here's my question. For Christmas I'm going to be getting a CM Centurion 5 case. I'm going to be transferring all my old parts into the new case, and was wondering if the front audio cables are long enough to reach that annoying sound module on the Ultra-D mobo? It doesn't matter so much if they have to stretch across the mobo, because it's the model without a side window.

My other question is in regard to the cooling. For some reason or another, CM has decided not to update their Centurion 5 line with a 120mm front fan. My plan right now is to mount two front 120mm fans; one behind the HD cage and one on the 5.25 drive bays under the CD drive. Does anybody know if this is possible? Thanks for any help!

i have a CM cent 5 and i used the onboard sound module on my abit. The cables are indeed long enough, shouldnt have any probs with it. My only gripe is that they are not bundled together like on my p180, so you have to plug each little one in individually. It really sucks if you got big hands.

It can definitely be done. You'll have to get a bit creative with a Dremel saw though :)

no it is not possible to mount a 120mm in the front w/o massive mods, but another good choice would be the centurion 530/531/532 which hav 120mm intakes and exhausts ;)

I guess I phrased that the wrong way. I meant behind the HD cage..if you know what I mean. :p I'll try to get some pics up soon.... But yeah, if I can convince my dad to let me use his dremal tool I probably could put it in front. As far as the module and the rear fan goes, I'vea heard the same thing. Guess we'll see where that goes...

Ok, here's a picture of my current setup with the fan behind the HD cage:

Does that explain it a little better? Do you think doing it like this, and possibly drilling out the metal piece in front and/or leaving the 80mm fan in would restrict airflow much?
