Has anybody gotten CentOS and VirtualBox to work right? I'm trying to install CentOS into a VM on Virtualbox with my Win 7 as base. But everytime I install, it hangs for no real good reason. Anybody gotten it to work?
 
no info from me. i have only run virtualbox on top of Linux distros, although I will say that I never had a problem doing this. I know it doesn't help you much, at all.
 
Where does it hang? Also, are you doing a text or graphical based install? You might want to try to to a text based install if you have that option.
 
I am running CentOS 5.4 on my Windows 7 box at home using VirtualBox. Did not have any issues during install.
