Hey all, I'm not much an audiophile, but after reading through the posts here I went ahead and bought a set of Swan M10's for my PC. I was thinking of getting a second set for the rear channels, however, I'd like a front center channel, too... any ideas on something that would be simple and sound complimentary to the M10's? I'm on a budget, so to speak, and looking to keep it as inexpensive as possible.

Centers are generally expensive. Kinda like subs. The best bang for the buck, right now, since the x-cs at $75 are gone are the Swan Diva C2 for $179 at Audioinsider.

If you get a center you will need an amp of some sort, if you don't have one already it might be better to just get a receiver and proper 5.1 setup.

Gotcha... I may have made a mistake buying the Swans, I suppose if I was going to go 5.1. I could just get a second pair still and have 4.2, or maybe I'll find a pair of 2.0's for the back. Do you think Swan m10's in the back is a poor decision? Obviously, the sub in the back is unconventional; but, would it effect the "experience" adversely?

Spaceman thinks it is a good setup - but for me (personally) I would not like it. I do not like dealing with 2 volume controls (even though you can use software volume - I like have complete control with one knob). Also consider the room - 2 subwoofers may be too much or might sound boomy.

If you really just want to add a center you could buy this...

http://www.amazon.com/AudioSource-AMP-100-2-Channel-Bridgeable-Amplifier/dp/B00026BQJ6/ref=pd_cp_e_1
(Audiosource AMP100 Power Amplifier)

150 watts into one channel and use that for the center.

But using a home theatre centre speaker with multimedia speakers like the Swan M10 might not sound very good...
