i don't think anything is coming from the center channel speaker on my PM 5.1 ultras, i checked the connections from sub to speaker, and sub to computer, i set nforce settings to 6 speaker setup, and windows audio to 5.1 settings.

i mean movies and music still sound incredible, but its a little annoying paying 400 bucks and not getting the full bang for the buck

also: how come the center rear and sub sometimes go up to 15, but other times only go up to 6?

wtf so i read the advice on the other thread about fake 5.1, but i accidentally switched it to spdif. anyhow i changed it back but i can't hear my rear channels anymore on movies, do i have to get an spdif cable to use true surround? and do they connect to klipsch 5.1 ultras?

only for games
no

you get 5.1 from what is encoded in 5.1, which is currently DVD's
most games are 4.1
music is 2.0/2.1

i got it to work finally, i had the wrong settings clicked on the nForce settings
