I don't see much on this but have experienced this too much lately cause I have to carry 2 cell phones for work. This new phone I have to carry is the Motorola I830 and I cannot get that too close to my system without making these wacky clicking noises...

I learned the mics are to blame...go figger!!?!?!? I was getting so pissed that my new setup had some kind of issue I had no idea on t'shooting.

So, not only will they give you tumors but they F with your computers!
 
Yes, I have the Motorola I90, and it does the same thing. Same with everyone else I know that has the mic phone. It sucks, if I have to talk on the land line, and my mic phone is near, I have to turn off my pc speakers or I'll get that annoying noise you were talking about. My boss has a new dodge caravan, and the phone causes the speakers in his van to do it also. Yes, it is very annoying.
 
Whenever my phone starts to get a call, the speakers start to buzz. its kidna cool cause i can pick up the phone even before the person calls. I haven't noticed any bad things happen to my components so for now its just cool to pick up my phone faster than usual. :D

*edit* I have the motorola V400, and logitech z640 speakers.
 
Huh, my Nokia 3586i doesn't do that at all. That sounds like a real pain in the butt.
