Celeron D vs P4 D

Between these series... is there big differences? Ive noticed Celerons were quite cheaper, but I cant seem to figure it out.
A little help would be great :confused:
 
The Pentium D processors are significantly faster than Celeron D processors. The Pentium Ds are dual-core whereas the Celerons are only single-core.
 
also the Pentium D should have more cache per core then a celeron and there is no x86 virtualization support on a celeron.
