Celeron D 2.4@3.6

I got my Celeron D 2.4@3.6. Its feeling and responding as faster maybe faster than my P4 2.4C@3.4. I was curious, what is the P4C and P4E equivalant to my Celeron D running at 3.6.

Sisoft benchmarks show that it beats a Athlon 64 3200 and can match a P4C 3.0. Im very skeptical about those numbers so what are your opinions.

I believe its as fast as a 3.0cghz or 3.2cghz p4s.

I mean it only has half the cache and no hyperthreading..
it's not a bad chip at all.

I wonder when there comming out with those dual core celerons

3.0C is about right, those Celeron D's are kickass

celeron's are good, but not for gaming.. Pentium D 3.0ghz is the shit!

If this was a Northwood Celeron, what would the equivalanet be?

my northwood celeron 2.660ghz @ 3.0ghz (when stabled) ran almost the same as a 1.8ghz p4...

I'm guessing probually a 2.4ghz (not C core) p4 w/o HT

a 2.66@3 is a lot slower than a 2.4@3.6 speed and fsb wise..

In p4 it would probually be around that range of 2.4 or 2.6ghz, if it was a northwood celeron..

I'll let you know though I'm still kicking around the idea of pin modding my 2.660ghz celeron to run at 133FSB thats 3.4ghz..

A Northwood Celeron at 3.3-3.4 is equal to a Pentium 4 at 2.2-2.4. I have an Athlon XP-M 2400+ in my Laptop and it was beat a Northwood Celeron at 3.3.

Northwood Celeron's were quite possibly the worst Celeron ever made.
