Well, seeing as how you can actually buy them.... where are the Cedar Mill reviews around the web? Anyone see any? Cedal Mill is the processor I was hoping to buy until I could purchase an affordable Conroe....

Anyone know where there is a review of this thing? Or do website just dont care....

hah

I was also eager to find some reviews about Cedar Mill but I did not find any. I had the intention to buy a cheap 775 PCI-E based motherbard (like Asus P5LD2) and upgrade my RAM for some good DDR2 667 and a X1900 XT with a new 651 or 641 to replace my existing setup. This setup would be ideal as a transitionnal upgrade while waiting for Conroe since the performance of an overclocked Cedar Mill will be far superior to my 3.4C so CPU wise, it will be just good. My intention is that I don't want to wait another 6/7 months and do a full upgrade as it will costs me too much. If I do this, I will just have to upgrade my CPU/mobo for conroe. Investing in a full fleadged i975X is a waste IMHO since it won't probably compatible anyway, as always with Intel  At least, I could keep my RAM and Video card, and since Intel supports Crossfire, maybe adding another one, who knows.

Seems like the majority of people who actually have 641 631 are doing 4.5 GHZ on air with a good aircooler like an xp120 or zalman 9500. The 900 preslers are doing about 4.0 GHZ on air.
