Flatpanels.dk has a long article about new monitors and TV's shown at CeBIT in Hannover. Everyone interested in displays should have a look as many new models and technologies have been presented. Samsungs have presentations of LEDs by the way.

The first part of the article can be found here: http://www.flatpanels.dk/nyhed.php?subaction=showfull&id=1142200800&archive=&start_from=&ucat=&

You see a number of Samsung monitors and TV's. Furthermore you find NEC and Panasonic. Among other things Panasonics 103 inch PDP-TV which is the worlds largest.

Part two will follow tomorrow with news about LG, Hitahci, Sharp etc.

Great.
Does anyone know what's new with Samsung 245T comparing to 244T?

Regards

I know they changed the model number... :p

j/k

I wish I could afford two of those bad boys.

Click on the size you want, to see all of its Specs.
As far as I know 244T already use the LTM240M2 panel. I don't see newer one on that list.

Then maybe the one you saw at Cebit is so new, it's not yet on Master List.
Try this: return to that Link I gave (above) and mouse your way to Samsung's 'LCD Monitors' section.
If that new monitor's on sale, it'll be there.

Was there on saturday...This is my favorite

I'm interested in that LG OLED from the 2nd article, but everything looks great anyway. Well, except those weird designer covers for LCD chassis. Those just made me go

I especially enjoyed the improvements in motion through various new techniques to increase the 60Hz limit of current LCD displays.

Samsung's big push on the use of LED backlight throughout their different displays also shows that this technology will soon be available.

This clip shows the Samsung LCD displays with LED backlights:
