I currently have a preorder for an x800xt-pe and have a question for everybody. When I check my order status on their website it says processing order, does that mean its getting ready to be shipped? Or do all preorders say processing order?
 
They all say that and probably will for weeks to come

I dont think anyone from CDW or Gateway that ordered waayy bak in June, has yet to recieve one
 
And it looks like Dell won't be getting the XTPE until November at the earliest. Forget it guys, the XTPE is dead in the water.
 
ok i was thinking about it and i will try to buy the PE in december.. im not wasting my time pre-ordering here canceling there an so on. December it is.

are you on nvidias payroll? you would be overjoyed if ATI's factories burnt to the ground wouldn't you? because WHEN the XTPE is widely available, it will make your card seem puny. and its so laughable because these are just video cards. im just disgusted how people like you go to such great lengths to justify their purchase. and im curious, why are you such a despicable scum of a person?

yes i know, and i wouldn't normally do this, but he has put me over the edge. ive heard enough of his anti-ati pro-nvidia bullshit.its alright to like the card that he bought. but what hes doing is bashing ATI, bashing people who report benchmarks of ATI doing remotely well, and disregarding that information entirely, plus telling other people that the XTPE will never come out etc... the opposite of being objective.
 
I hear that CDW will be getting the XTPE's in about two days from never :p

yea dude wtf no one was arguing about which card is better he just said dead in the water, that doesnt imply that it sucks to me, just that its next to impossible to get, techinically ati is faster than nvidia(minus doom3) every other game that differences are very minor,I like ati but not enough to sit around with my thumb up my ass waiting for the card. Especially when I can just overclock mine to near XTPE speeds and I can have it now. As a side note I had to get the 6800 GT because I have to have the card now, opening an internet cafe in less than a month and gotta finish getting this shit built. It's so cool having 42 of those 6800 GT's :D :D :D

This whole forum was Anti-nVidia for months prior to 6800 series release so i dont see how one person could throw you over the edge because you deem their comments anti-ATI lol.

Its also against forum rules so its not acceptable for whatever reason you may have. Were only suppost to talk about the video cards which does not involve individual comments about one another and what we think about anothers reasoning.

The X800XT PE is a great card but i havn't seen the benchmarks to show its even faster then the 6800U.

The 6800 GT is unquestionably faster then the X800Pro and the 6800U and X800XT PE are tied for performance in D3D. The 6800U holds the performance crown for all OpenGL titles and not just DOOM 3 as well. The new 65.xx series drivers gave nVidia a big boost in D3D performance and the 6800U was already beating the X800XT PE at nearly every resolution without AF enabled. The Anisostropic Filtering optimizations were the only thing giving the PE an edge at high resolutions in D3D and that was addressed with a new AF method in the 65.xx series drivers.

The 6800U steals wins in just as many D3D games as the X800XT PE and never loses in OpenGL. To me that means the 6800U is easily the faster card.

The 6800U also makes the X800XT PE look like integrated graphics under Linux. :)

Wow, looks like everyone already straightened out doh-nut for me which is cool and all; poor guy needs to calm down before he has a miscarriage.

P.S. I've never told people the XTPE will not come out, in fact quite the opposite, I tell people what ATI told me...expect shipmets in MID-OCTOBER. See kiddo, I even put it in caps for you. ;)

how do people connected in video cards like they are f$##@#n family. heres some of my guesses. Please tell me if you have other observations on the nature of this disease this is keeping me up at night. heres my guesses:

- they have surrenderd on everything else that used to mean something to them and the video card alliance is their last line of defense of self respect.

- they are a strange paraody of antagonist and small, weak, and friendless people. who can only express themselves in all their obnoxious glory through the complete anononymity of internet forums

Of course vid card !!!!!!s are the tech version of political activist and religous fanatics. meaning that small minority of people who have been disallousing regular people off decent activites for all of time.

He states the obvious (ATI blew it with the X800 XT, there's no denying it - you can't find it anywhere for a reasonable price) and all of a sudden it's necessary to flame him?

i didn't technically flame him in that post. and he didn't state the obvious, he stated the untrue, that the XTPE was dead in the water. had to correct his mistake. i didn't call him a despicable scum of a person, i politely asked why he is one.
