Everytime I use my Lite-On LTR-1210B cdrw, my entire system lags like a mother. It wasnt always this way, but I cant figure out how to fix it. When I open my Task Manger, I see that ikernal.exe and setup.exe vie for top spot in the CPU usage catagory, no matter what my overall cpu usage is always 100% while im running the drive. Even my mouse pointer skips along my screen when using it. And this is for any CD.
 
yea.. 100% cpu "setup.exe" is nearly a sure sign of a virus.. good luck
