Cd Rom Problem

My 2 cd roms are reading as scsci when they are not tried uninstalling and reinstalling them didn't do anything. I don't know what to do and I really need some help tHanks. All help is appreciated....

Are they definitely IDE CD-Drives? Do you have them connected to the motherboard or an IDE controller card?

Yes they are. they were working and all of a sudden the next day stopped. I don't know.....what happened I didn't change anything . They are connected to the motherboard.

Yes, I can read cds and everything just cant burn anything witht hem
