Ok heres the deal pretty much the other day i took apart mmy computer to clean out all the dust and shit to give it a nice new feeling, but since then i have gotten nothing but problems i had 2 cd-rom drives and the first problem was when i booted up it gave me a secondary master error. Well i thought ok nothing else is wrong and i dont reall use the 2nd CD-ROm drive anyways so i took it out. After that i really dont use a lot of cd's cause all my music is on my hardrive so i never really use a CD-ROM anyways untill today i accidentaly uninstalled WoW...dont ask me how and I thought oh well no big deal i'll just re-load it and case will be solve. but again i got another CD-ROM error this time i am getting D:/ is not accessible
The request could not be preformed because of an I/O device error. Now my first thought to this was the IDE cables were somehow screwed up so i changed them around and one time i got it to work. My computer was still open and on the side so shut down didnt mess with anything put the door back up and booted back up to find the same D:/ is not accessible
The request could not be preformed because of an I/O device error. when i tried to load a CD. So yeah. I am kinda pissed off so if it is worded retarded i'm sorry. Please help.

If it were me, it seems like the I/O interrupts were infinitely fucked with. Or perhaps you cleaned up your CDRoms improperly? But try resetting the cmos battery (taking it off). The whole BIOS will be reset to default, and so should the interrupts. Try the boot up on default BIOS settings. If that doesn't work. Try to sort of "rebuild" the computer, but adding components in and basically making sure it can detect each drive. Since you said the problem occured after cleaning-- it just might be possible that static charge must've killed something there. Or your IDE bus must've been tampered with badly enough.

Good luck. As a word of notice, always be careful when cleaning out your PC... ;)

I agree with GeForceX that you should try putting in one device at a time to verify it works correctly and then add another.
You may have accidentally removed the IDE cable just enough to cause the problem or a maybe the CD Rom power cable is not all the way in.
The clue was the I/O error you got.

ALright cool guys for the most part I got it fixed. Taking out the battary helped so thanks a lot for that information, I'll sure remeber it.

Please do not SHOUT in thead titles using phrases like "PLEASE HELP". That doesn't make anyone want to help you more. Descriptive titles are better.
