CD recognition problem in W2K

Hey guys. When ever I put a CD in the computer, the CD won't refresh unless I click eject again, and then hit f5 to refresh the entire screen, and then I have to put the CD back in.

This is really annoying, and i was hoping that someone here knew what is going on and how to fix it.

I have W2K, btw.
