hello everyone

i have been using 700mb cd-r disk. i need a disk that will hold more info.
is there a cd-r disk that holds more than 700mb of info.
i need a cd-r disk that will hold more than 1.21gb of info.
if so could you please direct me to them?

i once heard that you can like crack the cd and make it hold around a gig of data in it..something like that :confused:
 
You could compress the files before you burn them. Knoppix somehow decompresses on the fly, allowing more than 700mbs of files.

there is always "overburning". your drive must support it and as always YMMV.
 
You can use GigaRec, only with Plextor CD-R/RW drives,though. Can cram upto 1GB on the disc, but there will be readability problems.
 
yeh, i'd say your best bet is just to use dvd's.. you can get a dvd burner pretty cheap now and the media is cheap as well... but if your doing it for musical reasons that would change things...
