CD/DVD-ROM Audio Cable Help

Hello,

Let me first start by saying that I am amazed by the work that most of you do, and I enjoy reading about it and seeing pics, but it's not really my thing. I'm interested in good cable management, good looks, good airflow, etc. -- just not to that extreme.

Onto my question. (Yes, I searched)

I am having trouble finding a longer CD/DVD-ROM audio cable -- one that goes from the drive to the sound card. This seemed like it's probably the most appropriate forum to put this in, since many of you have probably dealt with this before.

All I have ever seen is approx 24" long cables like this and for me to be happy with the routing, I would need one about 36" long. Has anyone seen one of these or an adapter to connect two, or have any other ideas?

I'm pretty happy with the rest of my management except for finding single connector 24" round IDE/Floppy cables in Silver (help there too if you know where!)

Pics of the old system I'm working on. New system is together but no problems with cables in there.
