I didn't know where else to put this but I was about to do a fresh install of vista on my laptop and when I put the vista DVD in it wouldn't work. It's not just the vista dvd either, if I put in any media in the dvd drive it won't recognize it. It reads it for a second than doesn't don anything. I can see the dvd icon in my computers but when I click on it when theres a disk in it just ejects the DVD drive and says please insert a disk. Everything was working fine a few days ago. This is on a HP laptop dv5t.
