Ever since I put in my new hard drive and installed everything from scratch I've had a slight problem. Whenever I put in a cd that has an autorun file...it doesn't. It won't work on my RW CD Rom or my DVD player. Everything worked fine before so I'm assuming it must be a setting somewhere in Win XP Home Edition but I can't find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
 
Download TweakUI and check to make sure that Autorun is set. If it is, try unchecking, rebooting, checking back, rebooting and see if it works (not sure you need reboots in between, but it doesn't hurt).

Also, right-click the CDROM drive, properties, Auto-play and make sure that's all set where you want it.
