I recently bought dual 12" cold cathode lights for my case. I put it in and noticed about a couple of hours the light was off and it wasn't working anymore. So I thought OK defective light, so SVC sent me a new one. Hooked it up again and it lasted about a day or so and same thing not working. When I went into the case to check it out I noticed the molex was laying on the bottom of the case. Is it possible that the light is shorting out because of
molex connector getting some static electricity or something from sitting on the bottom. I have another set of lights and I thought I would ask before attempting again. Any ideas. Thanks.:D

Sounds like you inverter is bad...not the lights. Do both lights go out, or just one?

Both lights go out.....then I plug my spare single cathode in and it works fine and stays working.

This is a kit that they sent me each time, so I got a new invertor with each one. That's why I am a little hesistant in assuming it's the invertor. I have a third one that they sent me I'll try that invertor with my old lights and see what happens. Any other ideas let me know. Thanks for the help.:)

I got the house brand, that was probably my first mistake. But you would think that after 3 sets of lights they might make a good set of lights that last more than a day.
