i was wondering if anyone knew of a CCFL roundup review that got together alot of popular well known brands and tested them for color and brightness

Dude for the most part a CCFL is a CCFL. Just buy a brand that alot of others buy like the ones at SVC.

The Cooler Master CCFL's are probably the best but their more expensive then like PC Toys brand.

Hey, if someone can do a review of a USB powered vacuum and a USB powered christmas tree, I don't think that a CCFL roundup is too off the wall :) I would like to see one too, as there are several brands of ccfls, and a bad purchase can ruin your day, if nothing else.

if coolmasters are the best....mine just went up in 5min well not went up but i heard a sizzleing and burning smell came from the inverter.....everything is working though i dunno wtf happend there

I'd say alot of them are just re-brands of other top brands like Sunbeam. I have a dual 12" PC Toys green CCFL kit now and its green and its bright and if it does those two things then thats about all you can expect out of a CCFL.
