ccfl different tube lengths

So does everyone use two of the same length tube and no one has even tried to use different lengths on the same inverter? I realize this is rare, but I'll bet someone has an answer.
 
Looks like there's a lack of responses because most of us do use like ccfl's on one inverter. The most I've strayed from that is using a dual inverter that came with my ccfl FAN and using them on dual 4" tubes from a different brand. This doesn't really address your question head on - since I used like pairs for each, but, the inverter itself was used for something different from what it was originally packaged to do.

Sorry for the grey and squishy answer - I guess you're going to just have to try and plug 'em in! SVC sells tubes for super cheap and have a few more in their clearance section for less popular ccfl's - they could be used as testers...
 
It just so happens that the ccfl's I have are from SVC: single 6" that came with a dual inverter and a 4". Maybe I'll test tonight on a spare psu so we can get a definitive answer. I can see where this might come in handy. Then again, maybe I'm the only one who will ever be interested.
