How do I make profiles to switch between a usable 2D desktop and eyefinity for gaming? Everything I've managed to find references a mystical profile section of the CCC which either doesn't exist anymore. I figured maybe it was renamed to Presets, however, those don't seem to do anything at all (what are they intended for?). I configured my extended desktop how I wanted it and made a preset. I then reconfigured to an eyefinity setup and applied the extended preset I just made, but absolutely nothing changed.

Hydravision seems to try to do what I want, but full-screening VLC of MPC-HC stretches the video across all the monitors and maximizing the window leaves the border and controls visible, which is very undesirable. It also doesn't give me any control over my task bar which is a must.

I normally use DisplayFusion to manage my multiple monitors and I'd like that level of control back without having to configure eyefinity to play a game and then reconfigure my extended desktop whenever I exit the game, repeat, repeat. Are presets the new profiles? Are they broken in the latest driver release or am I just doing it wrong?

You're correct, they're called Presets. I had issues configuring them as well, and I ended up having to create the Eyefinity preset first and then the Extended desktop preset afterward for it to work.

Also, I had to use the "Desktop Management - Creating and Arranging Desktops" section in CCC when creating the Extended Desktop Preset. If I tried configuring the displays in Windows 7's display manager, the settings wouldn't stick to a preset in CCC.
