CCC console and ATI Overdrive

With 2 x cards installed ati overdrive is greyed out.
I have removed one card, and ati overdrive is still greyed out.
This means I have no controll over the fan speed.

I did have rivaTuner installed, but if I set the fan speed to manual and set the fans ( 2 cards) to around 60% speed, after a while Supreme Commander would crash to the desktop because RivaTuner would suddenly go to 'auto' mode and drop the fan speeds down to about 26%.

After removing one card, I re-ran the Catalyst v9.9 drivers again and rebooted, but ati overdrive is still greyed out.
I uninstalled RivaTuner and rebooted, but ati overdrive is still greyed out.

Anyone any ideas ?

I'm not in front of my puter to be sure, but I believe you have to right click in CCC on the upper right hand corner somewhere and enable overdrive.

Enable ati averdrive is ticked........but greyed out along with everything else, so I don't have access to 'auto-tune' or 'manual fan control'.................nothing.

I removed one card because I thought that then the 'overdrive' options would then become usable, but it has made no difference.

I feel silly now since it was under my nose all the time....:eek:
