i set the 3d refresh to 100 (tried 85 and 90 with same result) and vsync ON in CCC and i always get 60fps in-game and a very laggy mouse response.

why cant i get 100 fps? and shouldnt the fps be locked to the same refresh rate Hz?

(1024x768 CRT)

is the monitor able to refresh at 100Hz? and did you lock the refresh rate for applications, if not the application may switch back to 60Hz. what games did you test it

Refresh rates and FPS are 2 completely different things.

Refresh rate is the speed in which information is being displayed on your monitor whereas the FPS is basically a performace benchmark of how fluid the game is running.

i play CS source, and how do i lock refreshrate for the application?
i dunno if the monitor is able to run 100hz, but it doesnt complain when i press APPLY in the properties window and the "OK - cancel" window appears, so i guess it is running 100Hz.
but the "only show rates this monitor can run" option is disabled. why is that?

found the EDID thingy enabled under monitor options > attributes and set to 1600x and 60Hz.. thats might be why? gonna try raising it to 100Hz..

under the Displays Manager you have a Force button, so force the refresh rate. but 100Hz is unlikely for a common monitor (tho not impossible)

dammit this pos eizo monitor ... i cant force anything above 60Hz for some stupid reason. i gotta get my hyundai Q773 back
