ATI X1950GT 256m AGP.... recently started to drop video output under any type of stress... this machine is not typically used for gaming... and today my son was playing UT2K4, after maybe 10 minutes... no signal and had to hard re-boot... checked Reliability and Performance and sure enough, video hardware failure...

Updated drivers form 7.5 to 7.9.....but here is my concern.. we have already had to rma this card once... it's a Sapphire flavor... and I'm pretty worried that it may be on it's death bed again... anyone have problems like this caused by cats 7.5?

mine vapor-locked using 7.8 and had to rma.i do not think it is the divers fault just a bad card.did not last a week
