cathodes on motherboard

Its okay to set cathodes on motherboard correct?

Their in a shuttle rig so pretty much no room for them unless I set
them on the motherboard.
 
Are you talking about having a plastic encased cathode touching the motherboard? I don't see any reason why not.
 
It wont hurt, just dont put the sticky pads on it, I atleast wouldnt recommend that.
