ok so i got some blue cathodes for my pc about a week or two ago, and i just got back up to my room and notice they are off. i thought it was weird so i flipped the switch a few times.. nothing. restarted, nothing... does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this? or do i need to just call up Best Byte and get an RMA in order?

did you check to make sure the connectors were not loose?
and is there anything that would impede the airflow to the inverter? (they sometimes have over heat protection)

other then that id deff return them. it couldent hurt

ive done this:

switched power leads
tested each cathode seperatly
tested on diff psu
tested after letting cool down
made sure current was getting to it

im out of ideas, and i dont think it would be worth the shipping cost to ship them back.. argh!!!

I'd say trash em and get new, better quality ones.

Did you open up the inverter and check for any burned parts on it?

Do you have a camera you can take a pics of the CCFL kit with?
