I have a setup using both, the cathodes are far brighter, hell, before I switched to uv cathodes, it was lit up like a las vegas whorehouse :)

the LED's are nice for that space above the PSU though :D

I agree with that, but i would say thats about it, I dont like the Lazer light much. Its not a clean area of coverage. If you want to know what it will look like in your case, point 3 flash lights at a wall from 20 feet away =]
