I'm going to be running Win7 Beta on the system in my sig once it's built. Should I install CCC or just the drivers? I think the main thing that annoys me is that it installs VC++ and it sticks a file on my D partition. I think the workaround is kinda lame and i'm not sure if it actually corrects the issue. (moving the file and then running a command to register the .dll).So is there something better than the CCC? I figure there must be a reason why they offer the driver independantly from CCC.

Then CCC is obviously not the problem.
On a side note, I had my card running stable as high as 815/1060 - I ran FC2 benchmark before and after and gained only 3 FPS average. Makes me wonder why people even bother.
Average fps may not appear to go up much, but I have seen less drops in minimum fps.
In my experience, overclocking reduced these dips. But as you stated, avg fps don't scale up so well with the overclock.
Well unfortunately for me it is a problem, unless I go the flash route and use an Asus bios. Only problem there is I'd still need CCC or ATT to switch to 3d clocks. If it did it automatic like what I'm used to with nvidia I probably would flash.
