Just upgraded to the 5.4 cats, and am trying to access the CCC and get this error

cli.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate application.

What the hells that mean?

Should I run clean the drivers and try reinstalling? or is there something else I can do?

Yea, clean and reinstall.
Took me 50times of cleaning and reinstalling the 5.3 to understand why my vivo didn't work. It was actually the drivers themselves that fucked up everything.

Hrm.

Funny.

I rebooted again [ for something unrelated ], now its working.

Maybe it didn't finish doing what it had to do on the first reboot.

I had same problem, just installed normal drivers. I will leave CCC till another release.

Had this same problem on a friends computer, even after grabbing the update of the .net runtime from windows update. I just ended up getting rid of the control center, and installing the control panel stuff instead.

If you kill cli.exe in task manager (usually two processes running), then restart it via start/programs/ati control center/ Restart runtime (or something to that effect), CCC will work.
