Catalyst CC profile manager horrible at remembering settings

Anyone else find this annoying? I have one profile set up to use Eyefinity SLS on my three 22" LCDs, and one to use regular three-monitor desktop. Whenever I switch profiles, it seems like the CCC profile manager forgot half the settings. It gets the basics right, but like if I switch to the Eyefinity profile it won't create the group on the SLS so I have to go in and do that myself. And if I switch to regular three monitor profile, it will forget the order of the monitors and I'll have to go in and re-arrange.

I have CCC 9.11.

Anyone experience this, and/or have some fix for it??

Thanks1

Yes, its annoying and now I just leave it at one big 4800x1200 sls and it manages to fuck that up every 1 out of 5 bootups. Its annoying, but not as annoying as mono screen gaming!

Haha I know, it's completely useless. I'll just keep redoing the settings I guess. Hopefully they make this better in future CCCs though.

Man I really wish AMD/ATI would improve its driver programming department. Along with the annoying bugs related to Catalyst CC, a few rendering bugs in certain games and the lack of bezel management with Eyefinity, they're a little behind the curve.

Bezel management in particular would seem to be a fairly easy thing to implement. Just write a routine that shifts the left and right image inward respectively. Sure it'll leave maybe an inch gap on the far right and far left but I can live with it.

You should write it and send it in to them.

Ugg not this again, where do people get this notion that Nvidias drivers are perfect? I had two 8800 ultras in SLI and if I was able to get a continuous gaming session lasting over 45 minutes without a crash then I would give the president of the united states a call. Needless to say in the two years I had the ultras, none of the presidents ever heard from me. And then I was soo excited when I got my gtx285s, so exited that I did a complete new windows install and everything and ten minutes into my gaiming session....CRASH! The crashing was just as bad with the 285s as it was with the ultras and every new driver did absolutely nothing to fix that! Nvidia Fing drivers Fing blow!

With the 5870 and now 5970 I am having the most crash free gaming that I have had since my 9700pro days! They are not perfect, but they are better than the green door.
