I had an issue where text in FSX was garbled or otherwise unreadable.

This appears fixed in the cat 8.9's. It's bolder and more contrasty than ever- in a good way. Even when not garbled in teh past, it was faint and unreadable.

Our bug submissions actually mean something :) as I submitted this a few weeks before release.

I'm running Vista x64, so YMMV.
 
Nice. I wonder if I will see the performance improvements in my 4870. Gonna DL when I get home to night.
 
well I have to give a thumbs down. Im glad it fixed a bug, but theres a huge performance gab between these and the 8.54's, I dont know why, but there is, atleast for me.

The Witcher and COD4 run much better on the 8.54's (8.9 beta's)
