The DL page,
http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/amd_catalyst_13_30_beta_(13_300_january_8).html

Download the AMD Catalyst 13.30 BETA (13.300.0.0 January 8) driver. This driver works with Windows 7, 8 and 8.1.

We have a discussion thread open on this driver right here (http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=385614). This driver was released by AMD today. The driver supports all modern APUs (this driver was released for the new Kaveri A10 and A18 APUs) yet it also supported FireGL and Radeon graphics cards making this a very new driver for pretty much anything with an AMD logo on it.

Build Info:

Looks like R9 support is missing. /Edit: It's there. I guess I missed it because I assumed it would be listed near the other R cards.

These are a half gig dl, because they include system drivers for these AMD APU's.
The AMD Catalyst™ Beta Driver for AMD A10-7850K & A10-7700K Desktop APUs
http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMDCatalyst13-11APUBetaDriver.aspx

I read the following in the Guru3d thread,

Why are you guys having so much trouble. These are excellent drivers, no issues at all here.

Excellent drivers for BF4 getting MUCH better GPU usage from these compared to 13.12 WHQL's which was getting around 85-99% usage now with these its 99% the whole time. Frame rates have gone up too, feels smoother (probably placebo) but IQ does look a little lower tbh.

Overclocking is still fine.

How I installed:

- Revert clock speed back to stock on GPU (make sure MSI AB is set to NOT load at Windows Start or "apply overclock at start).

- Reboot into safe mode, set to reboot back into normal mode, then while in safe mode run DDU with 1 click.

- Once rebooted back into normal mode (remember to disable internet or Win Update) Standard VGA Adapter should have installed and be ready to use.

- Install these drivers, remember once package is unpacked cancel installation here. Go into C drive and locate AMD folder, get into packages and app folder. DELETE everything you DONT need here like SATA, AHCI, USB drivers etc (unless you need them for me I dont I am on Intel).

- Once you have deleted all unwanted files in Apps folder back out a couple of pages to main AMD folder and run Setup.exe from here and CUSTOM INSTALL drivers to make sure you have only got the files you need selected.

- Reboot, apply your overclocks back on via whatever app you use set custom fan profile back on as well.

DONE.

Every time I had used guru3d "beta" drivers that did not appear as an official download on AMD's page as a beta or WHQL I had massive problems. I also had problems with most official beta AMD drivers, heh, but I understand things may be better now. I'm not sure if that's still the norm for guru3d non sanctioned drivers, but FWIW. I don't know if things changed, but be weary. AMD is supposed to release drivers later this month, and this won't be the version number.

IMO, be very cautious of downloading guru3d non sanctioned AMD drivers. Every time I tried with 7970s back in 2012, massive problems. The driver revision to be released later this month is not supposed to be .30. Just sayin'! If AMD isn't releasing this version, proceed with caution. The "official" R9 beta is supposed to be .35, not .30, according to wccftech. So this is something else.

Since DICE patched the game a ton the past month, my FPS has been lower so I use different settings. With some of the AA off, my cards at stock core and 1575 memory, AMD FX-9370 @4.7GHz w/o turbo; my Raptr app says that my FPS average for the past 3 hours of play is 121.0 @1080p.

I noticed that my GPU usage wasn't all that high though. I probably need to do some things to make BF4 run better. I haven't played it in a month to be honest. The drivers installed new drivers for my motherboard by default. Seems to work fine though.

And the game was as smooth as a baby's bottom. :)

Just today I realized I was suffering from the "black screen" issue with my 290x. I've played BF4 for a couple hours with this update and no crashes so far. Wouldn't say I'm out of the clear yet though.
