Catalyst 11.10 issues

so I was getting things ready for BF3 and I installed 11.10 for my setup since [H] reported issues with 11.9 CAP 3

I'm running trifire 6950s specced to 6970, checking CCC after 11.10 install showed enable crossfire as an greyed out option and in the hardware screen showed 2 disabled adapters, as opposed to linked adapters like I had in 11.9

I rolled back to 11.9 and was able to play BF3 with crossfire, which worked great on 1 monitor, however at 5760 x 1080 I was getting major stuttering which I figure 11.10 would fix if it was working with crossfire (either that or a working CAP 3)

any clue how to fix crossfire enabling in 11.10 or when the fixed CAP 3 will be out

11.10 WHQL should be released Monday 31st. As for the crossfire issue, no idea. Did you reboot the PC after installing the driver?

yea I rebooted a couple of times, but I wanted to play so I didnt try too much after getting thoroughly confused, so I rolled back the driver restarted and my crossfire was back the way it was with the old driver

There is a CAP 4 somewhere here, I will install and reboot shortly....... i have MASSIVE STUTTER with my 6850 CFX/1055T setup.

I'm using the 11.10 preview3 with cap4 but the 11.10 didn't work for me until I used the atiman uninstaller. http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4140636&postcount=78

Also, the 2x or 4x MSAA seems to induce a lot of stutter for most people, try with it off to compare.

I have occasional stuttering just from playing video: HD, SD, and Youtube videos. Like crazy stuttering for 1-2 seconds like its about to crash but then video playback resumes normally afterwards..
