So with all the changes with Cataclysm coming out, I read that the Lich King is no more, does that mean that you cant do the dungeon/raid to fight him anymore, cause I just started playing recently, so I haven't even boughten the WotLK expansion yet, and I was really looking forward to fighting him.

i think they replaced the actual lich king with a different character that does all the same stuff. Not sure though.

oh, I see, whatever I guess, I wish i woulda started playing this awhile ago, just never really got into online RPGs til recently, I've always loved single-player RPGs, but I just never liked the idea of having to pay a monthly fee, but I pay for Xbox Live now, and other shit, so I figured what the hell and started playing about a year ago, but just got serious about it within the last 6months.

another question thats off topic from this one but still pertains to WoW; I know how to get to the Kalimdor with my Horde Character, but how to Alliance Characters get over there ?

The old fashioned way to get there is to ride the boat to rachet from Booty Bay. Not sure about any other ways, I don't play alliance.

^^ No alliance either, but just as an explanation, the Ratchet/BB connection is b/c of the fact that they are neutral cities (goblin).

Like with Gadgetzan & Thorium Pointe having dual Flight Masters b/c they're neutral outposts.

Arthas will still be killable in ICC even though in the overall time line he's already dead.

If you want to get to Kalimdor from Eastern Kingdoms, you can still take the boat from Menethil Harbor to Theramore Island. There may also be boats from Gilneas (Worgen capital) to someplace in Kalimdor, but that's just speculation on my part, since that content's not out yet.

Yep, chronologically and lore-wise, he's dead. Like Illidan in TBC, he's still killable, but that will probably change someday when OL and Northrend get's the same treatment as the old world. There's a nice change in the loading screens to reflect the current lore.

From Kalimdor, you can also take the boat next to Darnassus which will bring you to Stormwind.
