If nothing else, its gotten rid of that fucking annoying black screen flicker everytime you changed the Direct3D setting, gawd that was annoying as hell.

No difference in UT2k4 demo framerates, Im surprised how much lower it runs in comparison to UT2k3 with all the settings cranked up. Hell, the demo isn't even in the highest quality settings and it runs slower, maybe just a demo thing:confused:

Didn't try any other games yet, but im curious to see if it fixes the AF bug in the Far Cry demo too.

I think the UT2004 demo just has more/deeper textures to slow it down. I only got between 35-45 fps it seemed.

Actually no, the texture quality is stuck at medium as are the character models.

I've ran Halo with the 4.2's and it seems that it's running better with the highest quality and the resolution at 1600x1200. It's silky smooth even when there's a lot of gunshots.

as far as i can tell it didn't fix shit in the farcry demo. But I think the guys at crytech are the ones that need to work on that, for the final game.

BF1942 missing triangles have been moved from the distance and going away after a while to the forefront and not going away, which is a lot more annoying
