I'm getting tired of my weak ass hp pavilion so I've decided I'm going to build a computer for the first time. I've been looking all over for a nice case and found 3 that I'm interested in. Like I said, I'm new to this so I'd like some help choosing the best one.

If you don't think any of these are that great please make suggestions.

I couldn't get the second link to work.

Personally, I'd probably go with the first one, but it's your choice. Whichever you like the looks of the best, it's not like one has a faster FSB than another :)

The fist case you linked is a nice case but can be found for around $60 shipped if you comb the 10 major merchants (albeit a less shiny paint job) OR save a walletfull of cash by buying your Antec case bundled with an Antec PSU. A win win purchase.

Here's a link to make things easier for ya

Another decent site for cases with reasonable prices:

Thanks for the links. I think I'm going to go with the first one, I found it on ebay for $59(with the shiny paint job, lol).

Actually, if you're willing to pay a little extra money, go with the Antec Sonata (about 92.00 from newegg).. especially if this is your first system build. It's VERY easy to install a mobo, has an excellent power supply (Antec Tru 380W PSU), and is VERY good looking. It's got a "piano" type of surface. And on top of all of that, it's got excellent airflow. a 120MM exhaust fan, with an optional 120MM intake fan. In my old CoolerMaster wavemaster (a POS, by the way) the CPU was getting upwards of 53-54C during full load...with this case, I haven't seen it get above 36C. I liked it so much, I just built my wife another computer using it, also. :) You won't regret it if you go for it.
