The website has now been updated to reflect the fact that all the cases are actually refurbished models. I knew that low, low price had to have a catch.

I ordered mine the other day, and the website said nothing about refurbed. I'm kinda ticked. Oh well, it's a good deal and you get the same warrantry as with a new one.

I tried to post this in the Hot Deals Forum, but now you have to have a >50 post count.
 
wow...that blows.

i order refurbished stuff all that time, and still would've ordered my new 830 from that that is currently on it's way, even if know knew it was a 'furb....but super lame for not telling me when i bought it.

hopefully no cosmetic/giant scratch issues?
 
I'm confused what refurbished would entail in a case. Does that mean that there was structural damage or something like the Power button or usb/headphone connector ports don't work?

Hopefully they at least sort out all the problems before hand so no one can tell.
 
refurbed would mean it had been used and possibly damaged in some way, but Coolermaster repaired it or replaced whatever was damaged.

I would say you would never notice what was originally wrong with it.
 
Well, I got 2 of the 810's with the 850watt PSU's for $160.00 shipped.
And the 2 PSU's are worth more than that - even refurbed!
 
I don't see anything wrong with buying a refurbished case, especially if it has the same warranty as a new case. Since it's been repaired, it should be as good (or nearly as good) as a new case.
 
I looked at any of the cases they had and they said all out of stock? Doesn't make sense :(
