Cases for a single 480 rad

I want to do a build with a single EK 480 PE rad with push/pull fans, a cpu block, gpu block, separate tube reservoir and a Swiftech MCP 35x pump.

I know there are a limited number of cases that hold 480s but I would like input. So far I know of the Corsair 900D, Azza Genesis 9000 if you can find one, Phantek Ethoo Primo and my Thermaltake Core X9.

Can I mod an old case?

You really only need to ask yourself a few questions:
  • Do you have an old case with the physical space inside?
  • Do you have tools to cut the old case?
  • Do you have basic drawing skills?
Modding a case, while daunting, is really just a matter of commitment to the idea and planning to make it happen. A lot of the modders here do fit tests and drawings and even weeks of sitting at a cardboard desk to make their ideas come to life. I will leave you with this final tidbit:
  • Good, fast work isn't cheap.
  • Cheap, fast work isn't good.
  • Good, cheap work isn't fast.
