I'm looking for a case with a lock for cheap. Like around 60? I'm not interested in making my own but thanks for the advice. The reason I ask is because my girlfriends roommates totally f*cked over her laptop. They stuck quarters in the bay where you'd put a wireless card.

So if we cant fix it she wants someone to build her one.

i notice your location says pennsylvania. ...yeah, pennsylvania does produce some "special" students.

holy crap, is she rooming with 3 yr olds?

Pretty much, they tell her she can't drive and than expect her to take them places. She too nice to everyone.

hmm... must not be a pitt campus. i wouldnt expect that from pitt.
is it penn state? they're all up to no good i tell you.

I would get the above case, without the window. No reason to show your gf's computer off to people who stick quarters in a laptop expansion slot :D .

That being said, if they REALLY wanna get into her computer, it won't take much to rip the doors off most common lock panel cases. Sounds like she needs to move out if they are that untrustworthy.

oooh... that's hella nice looking. i'm gonna keep that in mind for later :)

Yeah, ultimate HTPC/SAN case IMHO, for the price. Another [H]er mentioned it in another thread and I am forever in his debt, whatever his name was :p

Look at the room for 7 HDDs with that 120mm blowing on them! mmmm.

I believe it's steel. Just a generic case.

Edit: This is what happens when you have multiple threads open at once.

I competely agree with you but she doesn't want to move. I don't know I wouldnt like my stuff being broken.
